The Prep learning community were treated to an exciting science experience on Wedensday as they tuned in to the Street Science Live Digital Broadcast.
For 30 minutes, the Prep classrooms were filled with wonder as the presenters showcased fascinating experiments exploring chemical reactions, forces, and the curious properties of water. From bubbling potions and smoky reactions to surprising bursts of fire, our learners were captivated by the science on display.
This special event served as an immersion into our upcoming science unit, which will begin next week, sparking curiosity and setting the scene for our learning ahead. It was the perfect way to ignite our learners’ scientific thinking before our excursion to Scienceworks on Thursday 13th November.
The session linked beautifully to the science curriculum, showing our learners how science can be both educational and seriously fun! It’s safe to say they are now even more eager to explore, experiment, and discover.
I liked the part that made the bubble when the smoke came out. It was almost like an explosion but it didnt explode, it was like a big cloud!
