Last week, we had a special visit from Kaesha at Bunnings Hoppers Crossing to help us prepare a lovely surprise for Mother’s Day. Before her visit, we painted our plant pots with lots of colour and creativity. When Kaesha arrived, she showed us how to plant the flowers, and we helped by adding soil and placing the plants carefully in our decorated pots. The finished gifts look beautiful and we hope they made our mums and special people feel very loved!
Prep teacher Kylie Jeffrie shared about the experience ‘ It was a great opportunity for the learners to put what they have learnt about plants and their needs into practice. The connections they made to our current Farm unit was wonderful.’
Thank you to Bunnings Hoppers Crossing for supporting our learners and providing the plants, pots and soil!
I liked painting the pot and planting
I liked when we planted. My mum said she is going to plant it in the garden with all of her other plants.
