Our Grade 2 learners enjoyed a wonderful day of faith, friendship and fun as they joined learners from St Francis of Assisi, St Clare’s and St Theresa of Calcutta to celebrate Mass for the St Francis Jubilee. The celebration provided a special opportunity for learners from the four schools to come together in prayer, reflect on the values of St Francis and celebrate our shared Catholic faith.
It was lovely to see our learners participating in this meaningful occasion alongside students from other school communities. Following Mass, learners gathered for a time of fellowship and shared lunch. This gave everyone the chance to connect with new friends, enjoy conversations and strengthen the sense of belonging that comes from being part of a wider faith community.
The day concluded with an energetic afternoon of Kaboom Sports! Learners from all four schools mixed together in groups to participate in a variety of tabloid sports. There was plenty of excitement, laughter and encouragement as learners challenged themselves, worked collaboratively and cheered one another on. It was a memorable day filled with opportunities to grow in faith, build new friendships and celebrate the joy of being part of our wider Catholic community. We are grateful for the opportunity to share this special experience with our neighbouring schools!
