Last Friday, our Year 4 students participated in a wonderful Eucharist Formation Day led by Samantha O’Dwyer as they continue preparing to celebrate their First Eucharist later this month. Throughout the day, students explored the meaning and significance of the Eucharist by reflecting on the Scripture readings, learning about the important symbols used during the Mass, and creating beautiful chalk drawings inspired by these symbols. They also learned the song Send Us Out by Gen Bryant, which will be sung at our St Mary MacKillop Feast Day mass this Friday. It was a meaningful day of prayer, learning and reflection, helping students deepen their understanding of this important sacrament.
