During our Religion unit on Lent, the Junior Community explored the meaning of almsgiving and the importance of giving back to others. As part of this learning, we had the pleasure of welcoming residents from Mecwa care to join us for a special visit. Students shared their joy through song, performing Hosanna and This Little Light of Mine, with many of the residents joining in. It was a beautiful moment of connection across generations. To conclude our time together, students exchanged Easter cards with the residents, adding a personal and heartfelt touch to the experience. This was a truly meaningful and enriching opportunity for everyone involved, filled with warmth, kindness and a strong sense of community.
