We gathered as a school community to celebrate the feast day of our school and parish patron.
Fr Jude started our day celebrating the Eucharist with us for the feast of St James. We had an opportunity to think about how we could serve Jesus and each other, just as James did as a loved apostle. It was great to have members of the parish celebrate with us, along with representatives from St Francis of Assisi School, St Clare’s School and Thomas Carr College.
The day continued with fun activities across every learning community. From singing to games and art to storytelling, there was much to celebrate as a community.
We loved seeing our families sharing lunch together. These types of experiences are rare and precious, but help us to recognise the importance of family for us as a Catholic community.
The day concluded with discos for all of our students. Our SRC decided that it was time to bring the discos back, and we know every child relishes every chance to have a bit of fun with the friends at school.< Back to Articles
